You can see how much space
is left on your computer's hard drive by:
(a) clicking Start |
Control Panel | System.
(b) double-clicking My
Computer and then right-clicking the icon for the C: drive. Drive space
can be seen by clicking Properties.
(c) right-clicking the
Desktop and then clicking Properties. Drive space can be seen on
the Settings tab.
You have several
windows launched but you need to get access to an icon that is only
found on your desktop. You can quickly see your desktop by:
(a) clicking the Show
Desktop icon on the task bar.
(b) closing or
minimizing all of the windows you have open.
(c) use a command key
shortcut to minimize all of the open windows.
You have more than
50 files on your computer that you wish to share with a colleague. It is
your intention to e-mail them to him. The best way to do this is
to:
(a) create a Windows zip
folder and e-mail the folder instead..
(b) send several e-mails
each one having some of the required files attached.
(c) use Adobe Acrobat to
create a single PDF of all of the files and send the PDF as an
attachment.
Your new computer
has a CD or DVD burner. The best way to burn a new optical disc is
to:
(a) download and install
a disc burning program such as Nero to burn the discs.
(b) Use Windows drag and
drop to burn the files on the disc.
(c) Use Windows Defrag
to organize the original files and burn the new disc. |
