Your new computer has a CD or DVD burner.  The best way to burn a new optical disc is to:
(a) download and install a disc burning program such as Nero to burn the discs.
(b) Use Windows drag and drop to burn the files on the disc.
(c) Use Windows Defrag to organize the original files and burn the new disc.

Option (b) is the most appropriate response.  Nice work.

The real question is; are you backing up your critical data regularly? We hope so.  Your computer could crash, burn up in a fire, be stolen or just have a bad hair day and the data you need to run your business is gone. Don't take a chance.  Back up your data regularly onto a CD, DVD or tape. Period.
